Nashville based artist Aimee Smith was welcomed to the club by captain Willie MacKay and general manager Neil Hampton for a special unveiling of her first piece.

Aimee focused on the famed 14th hole on the Championship Course, “Foxy,” for her initial landscape oil painting, with more to follow.

She said: "The visit to Dornoch was incredible.

"We lucked out with golden sunrises for reference photos for future paintings.

"I’m looking forward to getting back in the studio to get started on the next painting."
