Houses for sale around NC500 are set to be flagged up to a global audience after a leading property consultancy linked up with the team behind the route.

Galbraith has signed an exclusive agreement with NC500 to showcase properties for sale.

From this week the NC500 website will show Galbraith properties for sale within the circumference of the route on its interactive map.

Galbraith's Phiddy Robertson said: "Tourism is very important to this part of Scotland and the NC500 brand has been a fantastic marketing tool bringing the Highlands to a wider global audience.

"Many buyers have first visited the region on holiday and have subsequently decided to settle permanently in the area or perhaps buy a property which also has the potential to offer a holiday let on site."

NC500 chief executive Tom Campbell said that the significant boost to the economy created by the route had aided property sales in the region.
