North West Sutherland Schools (NWSS) includes Kinlochbervie High School and Kinlochbervie, Durness and Scourie primary schools.

Noeleen Chapman from Kinlochbervie primary said: "We had great fun recently with our first Santa Dash. There was an excellent festive atmosphere with all our primary pupils enjoying being out and about together.

“Will done to everyone who took part and thank you to our parent, staff and pupil marshals too. It was so successful that we think this will become an annual event!”

NWSS have also been raising money for the charity Save the Children, with a Christmas Jumper Day. The school’s Rights Respecting Schools group, also led the assembly to educate other pupils about refugees.
