The Far North Fellowship held a special thanksgiving service in Tongue Hall on Sunday to celebrate the Queen's Platinum Jubilee, writes Stuart Mingham.
Favourite hymns and worship songs were sung and there was a break part-way through to enjoy afternoon tea together.
As well as giving thanks for the Queen's long reign and wonderful example, everyone was invited to contribute personal thanksgiving prayer items.
It was a very happy occasion, and good to concentrate on, and be grateful for, all our many blessings in this part of the world.
