A MEETING is being organised to update Dornoch business operators on the work being carried out by members of Dornoch Business Improvement District (BID) board.

The board was established in February after local businesses voted last November to set up a Dornoch BID.

Members are: Ginny Knox (chairperson), Kyle Mackay, Gavin Ferguson, Suzanne De Venny, Mark Grant, Rob Smith, Gareth Dixon and Jim McGillivray.

The meeting is to take place on Tuesday, May 7, with the venue yet to be confirmed.

A BID spokesperson said it would be an opportunity for board members to introduce themselves to local business people who will also be asked for their feedback on various projects.

The board is putting together an "exciting calendar of initiatives and events for the town".

"We hope this meeting will give you a good idea of what is going on and it will allow us to gather useful feedback which will help prioritise some projects over others," said the spokesperson.
