Helmsdale Writers’ Circle is a small group of creative writers who live in and around the port. The group meets every second Tuesday in Othin House.
A spokesperson for the writers’ circle said that the evening would see members read out a wide variety of short pieces written over the past year.
“We hope to have a renowned guest poet joining us too”, she said
The free event, which takes place on Saturday, March 9 from 7pm, is open to people over the age of 16. There will also be an opportunity for guests to share their own writing.
