Car boot sellers will be handed a 'one time only' opportunity to sell their wares at Blythswood Care's base in Evanton next month.

The Ross-shire based charity aims to use funds raised from pitch fees to install a water well in India, providing a safe water supply to thousands.

Members of the the local community are being invited to sign up their car or van to come along and sell their wares on Saturday March 19, with the sale running from 10am – 2pm at the charity's Highland Deephaven depot.

People who are not selling are being encouraged to come along for a browse. The Blythswood Care charity shop at Deephaven will also be open throughout the day.

A spokesperson for the charity said: "This is a great opportunity to have a declutter and to support a local Ross-Shire charity.

"Anyone who would like to donate a proportion of earnings back to the charity will have their entry fees waived."

Entry for cars is £10 and vans or cars with trailers £15. Pitch fees for commercial businesses will be negotiated on an application basis.
