The duo are cycling 200 miles over the space of four weeks in aid of the Highland Wildlife Park, which is currently shut because of coronavirus. Mum Nicola is accompanying the children on their rides.

And so impressed was Nicola's employer, Cairn Housing Group, at the children's initiative that it is topping up whatever they raise by 50 per cent, up to a maximum of £500.

Cairn Housing Group chief executive Jason MacGilp said: "We encourage staff across Cairn Housing Group to get involved in voluntary work and give something back, and many colleagues do great work on a whole range of local projects and initiatives.

"We are delighted to support Nicola and her children in their cycling efforts to raise funds for the Highland Wildlife Park”.

The money raised will go towards feeding the animals at the park.
