Tain police make appeal for help to trace Theresa Townsley (41) amid 'growing concern' for her welfare – she may also be in Dornoch area

EASTER Ross police have issued an appeal for help to trace a 41-year-old woman posted missing from the area.

Officers in Tain want help from the public to trace Theresa Townsley.

They said there is "growing concern" for her welfare.

Anyone with information about her whereabouts is asked to please contact them immediately.

She was last seen in Inverness city centre on Friday, June 24 but is believed to have returned to the Tain/Dornoch area.

Officers can be contacted by calling 101 and quoting reference 1618 of 24 June.

Police said today that they do not yet have a description or photograph of her to share.
