The Easter bunny was the star attraction at Brora Carnival Week's Easter Fun Day last Sunday.

Children swarmed to get their photo taken with the bunny who also led them on an Easter egg hunt.

Tables were set up in Dudgeon Park Community Centre where children concentrated on doing different activities.

There was a colouring competition, egg painting and arts and craft.

Local Church of Scotland minister Rev Lorna Tunstall manned one table where children could learn about the Easter story.

A well-attended Fun Day was also held last Saturday in and around the old hall at Culrain.

The bright sunshine allowed a lot of the actions to take place outdoors.

There were the traditional Easter activities such as egg decorating but also some fun games including carrot toss. A mini treasure hunt was also organised.

Easter events were also held in other Sutherland communities.

The number of activities organised was a sign that the county is finally opening up after the coronavirus pandemic.
