The East Sutherland Jobs Fayre is taking place at the YMCA Hall, Golspie, from 10am to 4pm on Saturday, June 24.

Five organisations have linked to organise the event – Venture North, Highland Council, Developing the Young Workforce, Skills Development Scotland and Job Centre Plus.

The jobs fayre is free and open to anyone of any age.

A spokesman for the organisers said: “The aim is to provide people in our area – whether of school leaver age or maybe looking for a career change – with information on the opportunities and careers available in the region.

"The fayre will provide a platform for local employers, further education providers and services from a variety of different sectors and industries."

A list of current vacancies in the area will be on display at the fayre which runs from 10am to 2pm.

Organisers are also asking employers in the East Sutherland area to get in touch if they have any current vacancies.

The spokesman said: "We would like to use the jobs fayre as an opportunity to promote live vacancies available in our area. If your organisation currently has any vacancies that you would like to display, please get in touch with the relevant vacancy details by email: employability@highland.gov.uk
