Drop-off points across Ross and Sutherland seeking donations to aid people in Ukraine

Places across Ross and Sutherland are doing their bit to collect necessary items that can be sent to aid people in Ukraine who have become displaced due to the invasion of their country by Russian forces.

The Bradbury Centre in Bonar Bridge have been collecting essential items to box up and send to people in Ukraine.

Drop-off points have seen an overwhelming response to appeals for supplies that can be sent to Poland and across the border to Ukraine, with several places reaching already reaching capacity.

Those accepting donations are now mainly accepting blankets, sleeping bags, nappies, baby boxes with mattress, medicines, painkillers and toiletries.

Donors are reminded that items must be clean and undamaged or new.

The Bradbury Centre, Bonar Bridge

Brora Village Hub

Melvich Primary School & ELC

Lairg & District Learning Centre (Monday 10am-Noon and Wednesday 1pm-3pm

Invershin Hall (Saturday and Sunday 10am-3pm)

Ross

Slimmingworld on Geanies Street, Tain

Tain Royal Academy

Inver Primary School (cash donations)

The Place, Alness

People are reminded to check with drop-off points before making donations to ensure they can accept the items being donated.
