A NEW programme of activities is being introduced at the Dornoch Hub, thanks to funding from the National Lottery.

The hub, located in the spacious former police station on Argyle Street, opened last summer following an extensive renovation. It is owned and operated by Dornoch Area Community Interest Company (DACIC).

Manager Paula White said the hub is now "getting back into the swing of things" after having had to cancel a number of workshops before Christmas due to the coronavirus pandemic.

As part of the programme, craft mornings are set to start next Friday, March 4, from 10am-12pm. Booking is essential.

A youth club is also being held for 12-14 year-olds on Mondays from 4-6pm and for 15-17 year-olds on Thursdays from 7-9pm.

Paula said: "I am so excited about all the activities we have set up thanks to the grant we received from the National Lottery Community Fund.

"We really are catering for all ages. There is something for everyone at the Dornoch Hub from from coding club and youth activities to craft workshops, cooking/lunch club and pop-up boutiques.
