Links House at Royal Dornoch, has raised nearly £2500 for Hope for Tomorrow – a charity bringing cancer care closer to patients’ homes via mobile chemotherapy units.

The boutique hotel donated The Ultimate Luxury Highlands Weekend at a recent “Aston Martin, Go Behind the Scenes, Get Behind the Wheel” fundraiser

The weekend stay was auctioned for £2420 with all proceeds donated to Hope for Tomorrow.

The funding will keep a Mobile Cancer Care Unit (MCCU) on the road providing cancer treatments for over 12 whole days.

On average each MCCU treats 20 patients with cancer a day, so this donation means that 240 people will receive their cancer treatment from the NHS outside of the hospital environment.

The weekend stay package offered by Links House included accommodation in its bespoke penthouse apartment, the Mallart, which boasts stunning views over Royal Dornoch Golf club and the Dornoch Firth.

Dinner was also provided for both nights at Dornoch’s Courtroom Bar & Brasserie and also at Links House’s soon-to-debut signature restaurant, Mara.
