Dornoch golfing event raises £50k for Highland Hospice

A fundraiser organised by a Highland hotel at Royal Dornoch raised £50,000 for Highland Hospice.

The event took place on a sunny day, with corporate groups competing in good spirits. They played golf on the Dornoch course and enjoyed bacon rolls.

Kingsmills Hotel then provided an evening meal, which was attended by more than 150 people.

In total, the event brought Kingsmills’ fundraising efforts to £250,000.

Hospice corporate fundraiser Karen Duff said: “This was an amazing event and the Kingsmills have raised so much. Thanks so much to the hotel for their support. It really felt like normality had returned.”
