The family-friendly event is organised by Dornoch and District Community Association (DADCA).

Anyone planning to attend is invited to gather at the town square at 6.30pm in preparation for a torchlight procession leaving at 7pm.

The bonfire at Meadows Park will be lit at around 7.30pm.

DADCA's Victoria MacKenzie said: "We're doing a few things differently this year, so please come along and experience what we hope will be a fun evening."

A bucket collection will be held to help meet the £1500 costs of the staging the event.

Hercher's Fun Fair will be at the park along with refreshment vans. Free entrance to the park.
