Dornoch drinks business toasts success in retail awards

An East Sutherland business has scooped a retail award.

The Carnegie Whisky Cellars in Dornoch has won the Off License of the Year category in the 10th Scottish Independent Retail Awards 2023. The business is located in the ground floor of the Carnegie Courthouse, Castle Street.

No one from the cellars was able to attend the awards ceremony at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel in Glasgow on Monday night.

But a spokesman posted on social media: "We are delighted to hear that we won the Off License of the Year."

The awards recognise and applaud the "outstanding achievements" of independent retailers across Scotland, highlighting their dedication to serving their local communities.
