The Farr North Community Development Trust has teamed up with photography company Wild Arena to run a series of photography ‘meet ups’.

Four fortnightly sessions will be held from Saturday January 20 and everyone with an interest in photography is invited to attend.

Anyone can attend the photography 'meet-ups' as long as they have an interest in taking photographs.

The free events will start at Armadale Community Centre at 10am with a welcome and introduction followed by a tea break and Q&A session.

There will then be a short drive to a nearby location for a fun 'photo walk' where ideas for good pictures will be discussed and technical and creative advice given.

Participants will return to the community centre at around 3pm for a brief round-up of the day.

Those wishing to attend should bring a packed lunch and a camera. Transport might be required to and from the community centre and the photography location, although car sharing could be an option.

The photography ‘meet-ups’ are being held on January 20; February 3 and 17; and March 2.

No booking is required but for more information email: info@wildarena.com or ring 01316 188657.
