The North Sutherland Wildlife Group is warning that the deadline is looming for entries to its annual photography competition, now in its fourth year.

Anyone interested in entering the 2022 Abigail Rhodes Photography Competition should do so by the end of this month.

This year there is just the one category, which is fully open - pictures of any flora and fauna seen in the north Sutherland and Caithness area are invited. Images taken during 2022 can be used.

A spokesman for the group said: “The competition is intended to be fun and entry is free. We are not necessarily looking for the sharpest, most technically perfect shot.

“What we would really love to see are pictures which showcase our area’s wild flora and fauna.”

Up to two photos can be entered and should be sent to NSWGphoto@yahoo.com
