A brand new solution for all your smartphone repair needs has arrived in Inverness and the north of Scotland - The Gadget Refuge Highlands and Islands.

"Whether it's a cracked phone screen or a malfunctioning battery, we've got you covered!" is the message from the new company run by Inverness based Stuart Howell (43).

He added: "I'm thrilled to introduce you to my new venture. If your smartphone needs a helping hand, I've got you covered right here in Inverness.

"The best part is I offer free collection services within Inverness and for those a bit further away, no worries, we've got a secure postal service set up just for you.

"I'm not just limited to Inverness – I proudly serve the entire Scottish Highlands and Islands region. Whether you're in the heart of Inverness or out in the stunning landscapes of the Highlands and Islands, rest assured that your beloved mobiles are in good hands.

"I am offering a free collect and return service within a five mile radius from the Inverness GPO, or a secure postal service if the customer is situated anywhere else in the Highlands, Islands or Moray.

"The repair service understands the vital role your devices play in your daily lives, and has come here to provide you with a seamless and convenient repair experience. I am looking forward to assisting you all with your smartphone needs!"

And it seems north phone users are delighted to welcome the new venture.

Stuart's launch page on social media went viral with over 30,000 views plus many messages of support.

Already this week they have been "inundated" with requests.

Stuart added: "The latest devices are very expensive so we are trying to the very best for people."

One of the most common accidents to befall mobile devices is being left on the roof of the owner's car, falling off and being run over said Stuart.

He attended Charleston Academy, has a strong technical background and past employment includes Sky Television, Cap Gemini, Lifescan and currently LumiraDx the medical diagnostics company in the Longman.
