Court appearance following New Year's Day incident at Pitgrudy

Two men are to appear in court tomorrow in connection with an incident at an address at Pitgrudy, north of Dornoch, on New Year’s Day.

The incident is alleged to have been filmed and shared on the social media platform Snapchat.

A police spokesman said that two men aged 34 and 21, had been charged and would appear at court on Tuesday.

It is not yet known whether the two will appear at Inverness or Tain Sheriff Court.
