A new Nessie sighting has become the second on the official register for 2023.

A couple's photos from June 15 have been added to the Official Loch Ness Monster Sightings Register.

The register stated: "Etienne Camel, a pharmacist from Lyon, and his wife Eliane, were visiting Loch Ness and claimed to have spotted a 65ft-long dark shape moving just beneath the surface of the water for several minutes.

"They were taking pictures from the west side of the loch near Invermoriston."

It comes after a £25,000 reward was being offered to anyone who finds definitive proof of Nessie's existence. The prize fund was announced by self-made millionaire Dave Fishwick, also known as Bank of Dave, earlier this month.

The year's first official sighting on the register came from Francesca McGarvey on April 5.
