High Life Highland countryside rangers are holding an hour-long, online Woodland Wildflowers winter talk on Thursday, March 23.

The talk will focus on the "wonder" of woodland flowers and will also introduce the rangers' biodiversity project for 2023, which is to create space in Highland for wildflowers.

High Life Highland said: "From the dazzling bluebells that cover ancient woodland in the spring to the colourful medley of celandines, wood anemones and primroses, wild flowers are what makes our woods so beautiful and also provide precious nectar for invertebrates.

"Come and hear about why woodland wildflowers are so important, how to identify some of the specialities and learn some of the ancient folklore associated with them."

The talk will be held online from 7pm-8pm on the day via Microsoft Teams and joining details will be sent before the event.

Tickets are available by donation via eventbrite.
