Volunteers are wanted for a long–established wildlife website.

The Assynt Field Club which runs – www.assyntwildlife.org.uk – wants to increase its pool of online volunteers.

The website records wildlife sightings in Assynt and also has a popular articles and news section.

Romany Garnett, from Assynt Field Club, said: "The website is currently run by a small number of local volunteers and we want to expand that pool of people so we can share the load a bit more.

"If you would like to help us keep the website up to date and fresh, we are offering free training on the management of the Assynt wildlife website.

"No previous experience of website administration or wildlife is necessary. The website is very simple and straightforward to use and would not need a lot of your time."

The training will take place over two two-hour sessions on two separate days in December.

Anyone interested in supporting the group should contact andy.summers@highlifehighland.com
