The search has begun for ten talented contestants to participate to a much-loved singing competition in aid of Highland Hospice.

This year’s Ness Factor — organised by Lornagh Siegel in aid of Highland Hospice — will return to the Drumossie Hotel on Saturday 26 October.

Individuals, duets or groups are invited to put in an application to compete in the event, which will see them perform in front of a packed audience and panel of expert judges.

Lornagh Siegel said, "It’s time to get the Ness Factor 2024 event up and running, and I am looking forward to auditioning the contenders in June. I’d be really chuffed to see some friends get together to give us a duo or group audition, as in seven years we have not had one yet!

I absolutely love how Ness Factor is one of the favourite nights of Highland Hospice’s Charity Events Calendar, and it makes me so very proud and privileged to work with all the wonderful people who make Ness Factor the fabulous night it is."

Torridon singer Kenny Smith will again host the evening’s entertainment.

The winner will have the chance to perform at Belladrum Tartan Heart Festival next year.

As well as preparing for their performance with tuition from one of the Ness Factor professional voice coaches, the singers will be tasked with raising funds for Highland Hospice in the lead-up to the event.

Anyone interested in applying for Ness Factor is urged to put an application form in as soon as possible, before the closing date of Monday 27th May.

Tickets for the night cost £80 per person. If you would like to book a table, please contact Lornagh Siegel
