A brightly decorated Highland coo sculpture has had to be removed from Inverness after it was vandalised.
It is part of Highland Hospice's fundraising Great Heilan' Coo Trail with a number of others placed around the region.
In a social media post a spokeswoman said: "Our beautiful coo Greine will this morning unfortunately be removed from the trail for a few days from her location at Falcon Square.
"She has sadly been the target of some unwelcome vandalism on two occasions which have led to her horns being removed.
"She will be taken off to be fixed up to her former glory. When she returns next week she will take up a new residence in Inverness within Eastgate Shopping Centre."
Hospice fundraiser Jenna Hayden said: "Please refrain from sitting or climbing on any of the coos. Any damage is not only heartbreaking for us and the artists, resulting in them having to be removed, but also limits the funds the coos can raise for our amazing Highland charity at the auction at the end of the trail.
"We look forward to seeing all your beautiful photos of Greine in her new pasture soon.”
