Consultancy firm to unveil draft masterplan for Tongue, Melness and Skerray later this week

A DRAFT masterplan for the Tongue, Melness and Skerray area is being unveiled to local residents later this week.

Coatbridge and London based Frontline Consultants have been appointed by Highlands and Islands Enterprise (HIE) to produce a master plan for the Tongue, and Skerray community council area.

The firm has scheduled three meetings in the area with the first one being held on Thursday, December 1, at Skerray Hall.

Another open meeting takes place on Friday, December 2, at Melness Community Centre from 7.30pm-9pm.

And on Saturday, December 3, the draft masterplan will be presented at the Kyle Centre in Tongue at 11am and again at 1pm.

Anyone interested is invited to attend the meetings and talk to members of the Frontline team.
