Community Heritage Officer required for Clyne Heritage Society, Brora, as it embarks on multimillion-pound regeneration project

Clyne Heritage Society is recruiting for a Community Heritage Officer as it enters the construction phase of a multimillion-pound redevelopment project.
The society has raised sufficient funds to begin the transformation of Old Clyne School, a former parish school on the northern outskirts of Brora, into a Community Heritage Centre and Museum.
The new full-time, two-year post of Community Heritage Officer has been funded by the National Lottery Heritage Fund and offers a salary of £24,000 per year.
The successful candidate will take up the post on March 4 and will be based at the current Brora Heritage Centre at Faskally.
Candidates must have a passion for history, education and community work as well as excellent communication, networking and organisational skills and experience in heritage, museums or a similar environment.
The post-holder will engage with the local community and schools, delivering workshops and events for all ages in addition to other duties.
