Change for change’s sake?

Sir – Our council is so stripped of money and yet the highly efficient GREAN system seems not to have filled their criteria.

It is our public money but the council, right or wrong, just do what they like.

In our rural communities, getting bins to roadends is difficult work for many.

GREAN made this easy as the recycling blue bin could be carried to the roadend or taken in the boot of a car.

Is it change just for change’s sake?

Once bottles or jars were worth some money on return.
