Celebration of achievement at Brora Primary School

The many achievements of Brora Primary School pupils in 2021/22 were recognised at the school’s end of term assembly.

The Nan Sutherland Trophy is traditionally awarded to one pupil for their community spirit, but this year it was presented jointly to P6 and P7 pupils.

Head teacher Dawn McKenzie said: “The class behaviour on a school trip to Aviemore was exemplary. They looked after each other and encouraged each each other and have shown the same attitude in other areas.”

The Sutherland Clan Trophy in memory of George and Mary Sutherland, went to Charlie Roberts for his hard work and effort throughout the year.

Cross-country medals and certificates were presented and credit given to Rotary writing competition winners and Hamish Simpson, who won a national writing competition.
