Car lands on roof after accident in Inverness

A woman driver was checked over by medics after the car she was driving overturned following a collision in Inverness.

Emergency services were called to Argyle Street following the accident at around 10.30am yesterday.

A Police Scotland spokeswoman said: "Officers were called to a report of a road crash involving two cars on Argyle Street, Inverness. The Volkswagen Polo overturned and the female driver was checked over by ambulance staff."
