Car boot sale and lunch is latest fundraiser to help Golspie Rowing Club on its way to world championships

Golspie Rowing Club is continuing its fundraising to help meet the costs of taking part in an international competition later this year.

The club is holding a car boot sale plus a soup and sandwich lunch at the village’s Fountain Road Hall on Saturday (March 12).

Proceeds from the event will go towards the costs of the club’s participation in Skiffie Worlds 2022, which runs from June 27 to July 2 at Korgene, in the Netherlands.

Anyone wishing to book a table (£10 per table) at the car boot sale, is asked to call 0876 017171.

The car boot sale runs from 9am to 2pm and the soup and sandwich lunch, which will include tea, coffee and cakes, will be served from 10am to 2pm.
