Volunteers are being sought to help plant 50 oak saplings as part of the ongoing Battle of Littleferry Project.

Volunteers needed.

The trees will be planted by children from Golspie Primary School on the morning of next Thursday, November 17.

However, some preparatory work is needed with the tree stakes, tree guards, and so on. All the holes have been dug already.

Anyone interested is asked to meet at the Battle of Littleferry Memorial at Ferry Road, Golspie, at 10am on Monday, November 14.

It is expected the work will take at least two hours.

Volunteers are asked to bring a spade if possible, and come suitably dressed. If anyone has a post driver, please bring it along too.

If you are able to help, let the project team know by leaving a message on the Battle of Littleferry's Facebook page, or call 07540 598150.
