Brora shop reopens following robbery report a week ago with community thanked for 'support during a difficult time'

A BRORA shop reopened today more than a week after police were called following a report of a robbery at the premises.

Steps Emporium posted on its social media page yesterday: "Dear friends, tomorrow Steps will be open again as usual. Thank you for all the support during a difficult time."

Police were called to the shop, which hosts a post office and is located opposite Station Square, on the morning of Monday, January 9.

A robbery was said to have reported in which a member of staff was threatened.

Roadblocks and and door to door enquires undertaken.

Anyone who was in the area at the time of the incident, particularly between 8.45am and 9.30am, has been asked to contact police by phone on 101, quoting incident 2023, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
