Broadcaster Sally Magnusson 'in conversation' event at Coigach Hall is fundraiser for public art installation project

Tickets are now on sale for an evening with acclaimed broadcaster and author Sally Magnusson in Coigach Community Hall on Saturday, April 27, from 7pm.

The event is a fundraiser for the Lorg na Còigich project.

Ms Magnusson will be in conversation with fellow author S. G. MacLean and they will discuss not only her latest novel, Music in the Dark, but also the land struggles of the 1850s and the role that Coigach women played in the successfully resisting proposed evictions.

There will be an opportunity for questions from the audience at the end of the conversation.

Both authors will be available to sign copies of their books at the end of the evening, during which time refreshments will be served.
