BREAKING NEWS: Kessock Bridge in Inverness closed to traffic due to 'concerns for a person' say police

Kessock Bridge has been closed to traffic in both directions due to 'concerns for a person'.

A Police Scotland spokeswoman said: “Officers were called to concerns for a person at Kessock Bridge, Inverness at around 7.20pm on Wednesday, August 24, 2022.

“Emergency services are in attendance and the bridge is closed in both directions.”

A motorist has reported seeing police, ambulances and coastguard representatives at the bridge.

Traffic Scotland is advising motorists to use alternative routes.
