On display will be hand-made books on carbon literacy themes such as growing vegetables, composting, recycling and energy saving.

An animation film Your Carbon Footprint made from recycled paper sets will also be shown at the launch and workshops will be held.

The exhibition is a partnership project between Brora Learning Zone (High Life Highland) and Lairg and District Learning Centre. It is part of the Train to Game programme funded by the Scottish Government through the Climate Challenge Fund.

Learning Zone manager Trish Matthews said: “Brora Learning Zone and the Adult Literacy team has been busy working for the past two years with schools, local partners, day centres, youth groups and other specialist ior community groups to produce a 10 minute animation film and one-off handmade books with students on carbon literacy themes.

The exhibition remains at Timespan until January 30 and will then visit other venues. Ring 01408 622707 for further information.
