Body of missing West Yorkshire hill walker Kyle Sambrook has been found

Police have confirmed that a hill walker from West Yorkshire and his dog have been found dead in the Glencoe area a week after they went missing.
A force spokesperson said: "The bodies of a male and a dog believed to be that of missing man Kyle Sambrook and his dog Bane were recovered by mountain rescue teams and HM Coastguard in the Glencoe area at 2.15pm on February 25.
"His family has been notified, and a formal ID will occur in due course.
"The family have thanked all involved in searching for Kyle and Bane and requested that their privacy be respected at this time.
"Our thoughts remain with Kyle’s family, and we support them at this difficult time."
The 33-year-old hill walker and his pet beagle dog had travelled in his black Peugeot 208 from West Yorkshire last Saturday (February 18) arriving in Glencoe around 3.30pm that day.
But Mr Sambrook had not been in touch with his family or friends since then.
Extensive searches were ongoing involving multiple mountain rescue teams including those from Glencoe, Lochaber, Oban, Arran and Police Scotland.
They were assisted by the RAF, Coastguard and the Search and Rescue Dog Association (SARDA).
Mr Sambrook had intended to walk and wild camp before returning to West Yorkshire on Tuesday but failed to do so.
His car was later found in the Three Sister’s car park in Glencoe.
There had been a sighting of Kyle and Bane in the Lost Valley area of Glencoe around noon on Sunday.
