Police investigating a fatal Highland fire confirm that a body has been recovered – although formal identification is yet to take place the family of the householder has been informed

Police Scotland has today confirmed that a body has been recovered from a property in the Dores area.
The building was gutted last week after a blaze took hold.
The incident was reported around 10.30pm on Monday, May 3.
Formal identification has yet to take place, however the family of the householder, Terry Glendinning, has been informed.
Detective Inspector Reuben Lindsay, from Inverness CID, said: "A joint investigation into the full circumstances of the fire remains ongoing, in partnership with the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service."
