It has not been held in the past two years because of the coronavirus pandemic but the Birichen sale of work is making a welcome return to Dornoch on Saturday, November 12.
The event is organised by the Birichen Children's Party Committee which has a long and proud history – it was started during World War II by the Home Guard who raised funds by holding raffles and dances.
Proceeds from the sale of work go towards holding a children's Christmas party, including a visit from Santa with a gift. The money raised is also used to to gift local pensioners a voucher to spend in Dornoch shops.
The sale will be held at Dornoch Social Club from 10.30am on Saturday.
£1 entry includes tea/coffee and homebaking.
