Established by the co-owners of the Beatrice offshore wind farm, the fund’s disbursement period was set for five years up to 2021.

It aims to support projects that enhance opportunities for education and employment, improve local infrastructure, landscape, biodiversity or heritage and empower fragile communities to become more resilient.

Groups can apply for awards from £10,000 and £50,000 and the closing date is April 28.
