B9176 route reopens a week early after essential bridge repairs

Highland Council has confirmed that the B9176 Struie High Bridge has reopened as of this past Friday, April 19 — one week earlier than planned after essential works.

Repairs were made to western upstream parapet (approaching from Bonar Bridge) of High Bridge as well as several road safety improvements.

The work had been due to last for 55 working days.

A post from Highland Council on X confirmed: “The B9176 Struie High Bridge route that had been closed for essential works reopened on Friday night, a week ahead of schedule.”
