Known as the 'Friendly Games', the event traditionally takes place on the second Friday in August.

However the Games had to be cancelled this year because of the coronavirus pandemic.

Organisers posted on the group's social media page this week: "Normally we would still be busy clearing up at the end of what would have been a fantastic games week.

"Understandably we couldn't hold the games this year, but will be back in 2021 and are delighted to announce that our chieftain will be Jess Thomas.

"An extremely deserving chieftain and we hope you will all join us in congratulating her."
