A96 Inverness to Nairn road closed both ways at Gollanfield

An accident on the A96 Inverness to Nairn road at Gollanfield has closed the road in both directions.

The incident happened shortly before 12.20pm and road users are being asked to find an alternative route.

A Traffic Scotland spokesman said: "The A96 at Gollanfield is currently restricted in both directions due to a road traffic incident.

"Road users are advised to approach with caution and expect longer than normal journey times."
