A9 reopened after crash at Daviot today
Police have confirmed that a collision which closed the A9 near Daviot this morning involved three vehicles.
Officers were alerted around 8am and emergency services were sent to the scene.
A Police Scotland spokesman said there were reports of a three-vehicle collision which blocked the southbound carriageway of the A9.
He added: "There don't appear to be any injuries."
A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokeswoman said they were also alerted but, when firecrews arrived at the scene, they were not required to rescue any casualties so they made the area safe before leaving.
By 8.50am Traffic Scotland reported that the closed southbound carriageway had been reopened.
However in a tweet it said traffic was still queuing on the approach which would take a while to clear.
