A9 open again south of Drumochter

Traffic is flowing again on the A9 both north and southbound after this morning's emergency.

Police Scotland have confirmed that the road has now been opened.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “We were made aware of a crash involving two cars on the A9 near Blair Atholl around 10am on Thursday, April 20.

“One man has been taken to Ninewells Hospital for treatment and recovery has been arranged for the vehicles.”
