Inverness-based health sciences company ODx Innovations has gone into administration.

It has been reported that 38 people have been made redundant after administrators were called in just before Christmas, due to financial difficulties at the firm.

ODx Innovations established a base at the Inverness campus in 2019, with help from a £1.75m grant from Highlands and Islands Enterprisse. It makes better testing and treatment options for urinary tract infections.

Administrators are currently looking for a purchaser of the company.

ODx Innovations has been contacted for comment.
