MACKAY (Tongue/Inverness) - Peacefully, at Ach An Eas Care Home, Inverness, on 20th July, 2023, Catherine Mackay, aged 87 years. Born and brought up in Akron, Strath Halladale, moved to Tongue to where she brought up her family and finally settled in Inverness for her remaining years. Dearly loved mum of John, Roslyn, Linda, Mary and Sandra, a much loved sister, granny, mother-in-law, sister-in-law, aunt and cousin. Funeral service on Tuesday, 22nd August, at 12noon, in Strathy Parish Church, Sutherland; thereafter to Bunahoun Cemetery. All welcome to attend.
