MACKAY

MACKAY (Dornoch) - Charlie (Charles) passed away peacefully at Migdale Hospital on 30th April, 2020, not long after being diagnosed with cancer. A beloved husband of the late Annie, a dear brother to Betty and uncle to Colin and Duncan. Charlie was an active member of the Dornoch Pipe Band for many years and had been a painter with the Council, which meant he was widely known and respected. Charlie will be missed by all who knew him. The family held a private cremation on Thursday, 7th May, 2020. Thereafter on Wednesday, 13th May, a private interment at Proncynain Cemetery. Donations being requested in lieu of flowers, to be split between the Dornoch Pipe Band and Macmillan Cancer Support.
