MUNRO (Dornoch) - The family of the late Margaret M. Munro "Marie", of Evelix wish to acknowledge the many expressions of sympathy and gestures of kindness they have received following their sad loss. A special word of thanks to all the doctors and staff at the Dornoch Medical Practice and to all the NHS carers and community nurses who provided Marie with kindness, respect and dignity and who provided us with emotional and practical support throughout this very difficult time. To the Reverend Duncan Macleod for his visits to Evelix and for his comforting service and support, to Elisha Cameron for leading the singing which Marie always really enjoyed, to Martin and all the staff at Mackay and Macaskill for their personal and sympathetic handling of all the funeral arrangements, to Corin MacLeod for the beautiful flowers, to all the staff at the Dornoch Castle Hotel for the lovely refreshments and to Pipe Major William Fraser for giving Marie a beautiful send off at the graveside. We offer our heartfelt thanks to the many relatives, friends, neighbours and well-wishers who visited Evelix, for those who telephoned, travelled long distances, sent floral tributes, cards and messages of condolence, to those who attended the church service and graveside and to those who so generously donated £929.50 to the Dornoch Medical Centre we are truly grateful. We can’t express our thanks enough to all of you. Marie touched so many hearts and will be sadly missed by all her family.
